VastDB has just been updated with new Event Functions to version v6!


===RELEASE NOTES FOR VERSION 6:===



In this new version, '''we have further extended our set of annotated AS event functions in 156 entries (to a total of 1163)'''. As usual, all functions come from published references from PubMed, and are manually curated. 


The total amount of entries per species are as follows:
* Human: 761 (including 186 experimentally validated ELMs)
* Mouse: 391
* Chicken: 11

The plot below shows the number of entries per event. Most events have only one entry (i.e. one associated publication), but some have multiple.

Each function is also displayed in the orthologous events' pages.
